Promoting understanding

When we filmed at Dorothy House Hospice all the patients we spoke to said that if they'd seen what the hospice was really like, they'd have been much more willing to have been referred sooner, and more importantly, would have enjoyed the facilities, care and friendship for longer.

Hearing and seeing the experiences of patients, their carers and those who have been bereaved, along with the vision and commitment of the staff, is a very transparent way of showing hospice life as it really is.

Enhancing fundraising

With many demands on everyone's cash at the moment it can be difficult to raise funds, but when people see the enrichment in the lives of so many patients, families and carers, at such a difficult time, supporters are moved to increase their involvement and giving.

..... money raised can far outweigh the small investment.
